Chelsea will be without the services of striker Fernando Torres for "a few weeks" after he suffered a knee injury against Manchester United.
Torres came on as a 79th-minute replacement for hat-trick hero Samuel Eto'o, but was only able to make a brief impact before he picked up an injury.
"At the moment we lose Fernando for a few weeks, he has a problem with his lateral ligament. For a few weeks now we will have Demba (Ba) and Samuel and hope they can do the job for us," Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho told Sky Sports.
The Portuguese tactician added that Eto'o had gotten the nod ahead of Torres for the encounter due to his ability to make the most out of tight situations.
"Torres is dangerous in space. United came here to be compact so I picked Eto'o for his movement in small spaces," he explained.
