Pilot Scoop: Lost Vet Naveen Andrews to Get Reckless for Former Employer ABC

Former Lost castaway Naveen Andrews has joined ABC’s drama pilot Reckless, TVLine has learned.

From Chris Black (Mad Men) and Martin Campbell (Last Resort), the prospective series centers on David (played by Almost Famous’ Patrick Fugit), a resourceful man doing all he can to free his wife Sara (Eloise Mumford), who has been unjustly imprisoned overseas during a political uprising. When stymied by an overly diplomatic U.S. government, he’s forced to use questionable tactics to secure her release.

Andrews — whose recent TV credits include Law & Order: SVU and the UK’s Sinbad – will play Roland, a renegade going to great lengths (for a great price) to rescue David’s wife.

He joins the previously cast Parminder Nagra (ER), Ernie Hudson (Oz), Ashton Holmes (Revenge) and Lou Taylor Pucci.
