Djokovic sees off Gasquet

It wasn't a must-win game for Novak Djokovic, but the Serb still made sure his unbeaten record in the group stages of the ATP World Tour Finals in London stayed intact against Richard Gasquet on Saturday.

With the four semi-finalists having already been decided earlier in the day when Roger Federer beat Juan Martin del Potro to secure the last spot, Djokovic's match against Frenchman Gasquet, who was already out of the tournament after losing his first two matches, was of little consequence.

Still, the Serb was on a run of 19 straight victories and he would have been eager to keep that going, delivering a typically professional performance to ensure he made it to 20 with a 7-6 (7/5) 4-6 6-3 victory in two hours and 11 minutes.

Djokovic has less than 24 hours to recover before he meets Stanislas Wawrinka in Sunday night's second semi-final, a player he hasn't lost to in the last 13 matches.
